Franceguide uses RSS 2.0 technology

RSS: What is it?

RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, serves two functions:

  • It separates the information out to present it to you in its simplest, most basic form

  • It updates this info in real time: when a new article is uploaded to the page, your RSS will notify you!

This permits you to 'subscribe' to an information feed.

In setting up the RSS feeds on pages and subjects that interest you, you will be notified in real time of all new information and updates.  Don't miss any more news, and be among the first to get wind of great deals!  Stay informed of only those themes and points of interest which you select.

Understanding RSS

Directly in your Internet browser

Newer browsers no how to manage "favorites" and "bookmarks" according to your interests and frequency.  The RSS flux is therefore placed with the other favorites/bookmarks and presents you the desired information here.

  • Internet Explorer, version 7 and higher.
  • Mozilla Firefox.

With the help of a web engine

To access the RSS feeds, you can also consult a web engine by clicking one of the above buttons.

With a general web portal

The larger Web Portals now offer custom made personal homepages.  It is possible to subscribe for RSS feeds with this feature.
