Hotel Sezz, the über-chic Design Hotel tucked away on a residential street in the sleepy 16th arrondissement, will soon unveil what might just be the best room in Paris. The new loft-style 800-square-foot Eiffel Tower Suite will feature all the usual techno perks—LCD screen TV, DVD player, Bose audio system, I-pod docking port—plus a few pleasant extras, like free Wi-fi and a Nespresso machine. But the real reason you’ll reserve Suite #75 is for the stunning views of the Eiffel Tower rising above the rooftops, seemingly close enough to touch. And perhaps for the freestanding bed (a Sezz trademark) peering into a sexy see-through bathroom with a tub for two.
The spacious living area will feature a sleeper sofa, desk, and console dining table (specially designed by Pillet for the suite). With 24-hour room service and a Personal Assistant to take care of all your needs (perhaps an in-room massage or spa treatment), leaving your room may prove unnecessary. Should you decide to venture downstairs, a steam in the basement hamman followed by a glass of champagne in 'La Grande Dame' bar is the perfect way to unwind.
Look for the Eiffel Tower Suite to open later this fall, and—in 2010—a Hotel Sezz #2 in St. Tropez.
