The Louvre's new multimedia guide

The Louvre's audio-guide system was redeveloped and enhanced in 2008, resulting in a multimedia tool that now includes new commentaries and themed tours to help you make the most of your visit.

With the new system, the museum's curators and experts provide descriptions of several hundred works on display via a series of mini-talks.

These audio-guides allow visitors to explore the museum on their own with the help of audio instructions and the interactive map that appears on the screen.

The multimedia guide is available in French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and French sign language and can be rented at the entrances to the Denon, Sully and Richelieu wings.
Cost: 6€ (adults), 4€ (concessions), 2€ (under 18s).
