The “Transmusicales” music festival in Rennes (Brittany) will take place from 2 to 6 December 2009.
This year the festival returns to the town center.
For this year’s “Transmusicales” festival, organizer Jean-Louis Brossard has surpassed himself in booking an array of talented artists from all corners and genres.
More than 80 artists will take part, including the Danish group Rubberhead Banditz and the Swedish group Fever Ray – their only concert in France.
The festival is electro but not excessively so, featuring the Iraqi rapper The Narcicyst, accompanied by musicians from Qatar. Gaëtan Roussel from the group Louise Attaque will perform a new project at the Aire Libre venue every evening.
A true musical and cultural event, the festival will take place in venues such as La Liberté, l'Ubu and the Quatre Bis.
