Company description

General description  :   The Drôme, from the Vercors to the Provence

The Drôme lies at the junction of the main roads of Europe, it also forms the Southern limit of the Rhône-Alpes area. The Drôme unfolds between the Rhône and the mountains of the Vercors, at the gates of Provence. You need to take your time to explore this department ; if you do, then it will deliver its best kept secrets : unspoilt natural surroundings, an authentic character ; local recipes and a tradition of quality and good living.

You will discover the old Renaissance quarters of Romans, with shop fronts of shoe designers of international repute, craft workshops in medieval villages such as Le Poët-Laval or La Garde-Adhémar surrounded by dark-blue lavender fields ; local produce on colorful markets, Côtes du Rhône winecellars... Between the Drôme and you, things are just beginning.

Lavender road : Lavender is a hymn of praise to Provence, celebrating Provence endlessly with its infinite range of colour and fragrance.

Wine road : Providing a junction between wine-growing in north and southern France, The Drôme offers a rich palette of wines - still wines, sparkling wines, AOC wines, vins de Pays….

Palais Ideal du Facteur Cheval, built from stones picked up in the course of his rounds as a rural  postman ; Grignan castle, Vercors Natural park or olive road in Nyons are some of the most attractive sightseeings…
