Cannes festival

The Cannes Film Festival is the festival to beat when it comes to internationally acclaimed cinema, and of course, the perfect camera opportunity, since it's events like this one that give the paparazzi their quite singular reputation. Taking place in the third week of May each year in the hotspot port city of Cannes on the Riviera, the famous and fabulous arrive in droves to see, be seen and generally revel in the limelight. The center of the festival’s hectic activities is found in the heart of Cannes’ seafront area, The Palais du Festival. Aside from the screenings and mythic parties, the city’s legendary luxury hotels (of which there are many) become intimately involved in the hustle as well.
