Skiing France
-
With “only” 1.2% of mountainous land developed for skiing, the French mountain ranges nevertheless offer the largest network of ski slopes in the world. Resorts are constantly investing, to ensure that there is at least artificial snow on one slope in six and deploy at least 1,300 snow grooming machines every day to maintain and pack down the slopes during snowfalls. Up on the mountains, high tech performance has a single aim: an optimum service offered to holidaymakers who enjoy snow sports.
