 The Johan Festival and Folkloric Coronations
Dates June 6th & 7th and 19th to 22nd, 2009
The highlight of the celebrations is the Great Coronation Procession, in which 2,000 archers in period costumes are led by Joan of Arc and Charles VII. Two weeks later, Reims welcomes Northern France's largest folklore festival.
Musical Summer Strolls
Dates June 18th to July 22nd, 2009
Almost 100 concerts by the greatest names in classical music and jazz light up Reims' summers. For the most part free, these concerts take place at prestigious or unusual sites, such as St.Remi Basilica or the city's parks.
