Company description

General description : Better known by its initials in French, the CIVB (or Bordeaux Wine Council)brings together the winemakers, the merchants and brokers to consider matters such as :

-guaranteeing the quality of AOC wines,
-undertaking studies relating to the local wine economy and worldwide markets,
-developing, both in France and abroad, the promotion of Bordeaux wines.

The Maison du Vin de Bordeaux is the home of the CIVB and offers :
- a wine bar where tourists mays taste a large range of local production with sommeliers from 11 am to 10 pm.
